Fuse for Forklift - A fuse consists of a wire fuse element or a metal strip of small cross-section compared to the circuit conductors, and is usually mounted between a pair of electrical terminals. Usually, the fuse is enclosed by a non-combustible and non-conducting housing. The fuse is arranged in series capable of carrying all the current passing all through the protected circuit. The resistance of the element generates heat due to the current flow. The construction and the size of the element is empirically determined in order to make sure that the heat produced for a normal current does not cause the element to reach a high temperature.
